Lamson Velocity
The Velocity has a less aggressive arbor ratio, uniform wall thickness, and a more planar structure than the Litespeed making it more efficient to machine. This enables Lamson to make their conical drag technology and Hard Alox finish available at a much lower price.

Lamson Litespeed
With a proprietary combination of alloy selection, mechanical preparation and conversion coating, the new "Hard Alox" finish on the Litespeed increases the coating thickness and reduces porosity, making it a huge improvement over standard Type 2 anodizing. The redesigned porting on the Litespeed makes it a thing of beauty and the "Hard Alox" finish ensures that it will stay that way.

Lamson Guru
The Guru is Lamson's lowest-priced fully machined reel. The signature arm-style element on the frame combines with open spokes to maximize structural strength and minimize weight. As with Lamson's other reels, Guru features true large arbor ratios. Guru is available in 4 weight through 10 weight, and shares identical drag design and components with the more expensive reels. Guru is finished with a clear type 2 anodize.

Lamson Konic
New for 2008, Konic delivers smart design and high performance in Lamson's most affordable reel. The same super-smooth, fully sealed conical drag system and stainless roller clutch used in our more expensive reels are matched with machined components and pressure cast ALDC12 aluminum alloy spool and frame. Konic is anodized then finished with a 100% solid polyurethane coating to resist gouging and abrasion. Affordable reels just got a whole lot better.

LAMSON'S CONICAL DRAG
Lamson reels feature a unique drag system consisting of a pair of precisely matched conical elements, drawn together with spring tension to produce variable rates of rotational braking. Reconfiguring the surface area of traditional disks into a pair of matching conical elements permits the drag to be completely sealed. Since the mass of the drag elements is centralized, the spool's rotating mass is much lower, making the reel more responsive to light drag settings. Couple this with Lamson's stainless steel zero lash roller bearing and you've got a rock solid drag that will outlast any fish. |

Lamson ULA Force
The ULA Force reel combines the weight savings of the ULA Purist with the smooth conical drag that is used in the ULA Force Saltwater. The ULA Force has the stopping power needed for strong running fish, durability for travel and saltwater exposure, yet is sufficiently lightweight to cast all day without fatigue.
The ULA Force reels also offer the versatility of the "Fx" spools. This means that with the F2 reel you have a 4/5 weight reel and with the purchase of an F2x spool you'll be able to run 6 weight line. With the F3 reel you'll have a reel that is light enough to match to a 5 weight rod, and with the purchase of an additional F3x spool you’ll be able to run an 8 weight saltwater line with plenty of backing for bonefish without having to buy a second reel. With the Force reels, adding a spare "Fx" spool is like buying an entirely new reel for the price of a spool.

Lamson ULA Force Spey
Strength, grace, speed; just as tarpon, bonefish and steelhead have been shaped by the need to thrive in their environments, so have the FS series reels evolved to live comfortably amid salt, sun, sand, or silt; boat decks and river rocks; powerful fish and blistering runs.
The result is the spectacular retrieve rate of a large-but-light "open" frame and spool; the use of an oversized, high-torque version of our patented conical drag; the benefit of a super-hard ceramic anodize finish.
Each FS reel is fully CNC machined in the U.S., with the highest standards of precision and craftsmanship. And if you happen to find them beautiful as well as functional, we won't take credit for that. They are, like the fish, just products of their environment.

Lamson ULA Force P-Series
The Waterworks ULA P-Series reels are, to our knowledge, the lightest machined reels in the world today. To achieve this weight savings, the ULA uses an arm-style body and open spool design. In order to maintain structural rigidity, each surface of the ULA is curved. This subtly complex shape is extremely demanding to machine, but results in a strong, light and beautiful high-performance reel.
The ULA P-Series represents the lightest end of the ULA range of reels. The P-Series utilizes a click-pawl brake to achieve maximum simplicity and weight savings. This reel is for the fisherman who wants to minimize weight and maximize contact with the fish. The P-Series reels are CNC machined from solid aerospace-grade aluminum and titanium in the U.S
