Every salmon fly we sell is produced in house. In an era when so much is outsourced, we think it matters that you know who is tying your flies. The fly is the only part of your tackle that a salmon sees, so it is the last place we believe quality should be compromised.

Our reputation for high-quality salmon flies has been a foundation of W. W. Doak & Sons since 1946. We continue to preserve the standard of excellence established by Wallace Doak and carried forward by the fly tiers in our shop.
The pride and talent of our tiers is visible in the quality and consistency of their work. Because the flies are produced here in our own shop, we can stand behind what we sell and maintain the patterns and proportions our customers expect.

Ordering notes
We normally carry an extensive range of patterns and sizes, but our peak demand runs from May through September and shortages can occur. Ordering early gives us the best chance of supplying a complete selection.
Because demand is high and our supply of quality hand-tied flies is limited, we are unable to accommodate custom tying orders at any time of year.
