THE SAGE VXP

The new VXP combines the VT2's versatility with the performance and power the renowned XP rod Series. The result? An exceptionally light, lively fly rod that generates high line speed for easy distance and wind penetration. In keeping with the versatility theme, each VXP is built with a specific taper to meet the particular performance needs of each line weight. For example, the light, graceful 3-weights feature a smooth, progressive action to help make delicate presentations and cushion fragile tippets.

On the other hand, the 9-and 10-weights come with a faster taper and more backbone to deal with big flies, heavy tips and tough fish. In between, you'll find two versions of each 6-weight—one or freshwater and one for salt.

In other words, the new VXP lineup has the perfect action for every situation. But they all share one important feature—a price that makes them a great value in every line weight.

THE SAGE FLIGHT

Through a further application of the analysis and construction methods developed for their G5 Technology, Sage has completely updated their FLi Series with a range of even lighter, smoother fly rods. Introducing the all-new Flight Series. Now you'll be able to generate high line speed and feel the rod load more precisely for improved power transfer and efficiency. In fishing situations, that means you will instinctively cast better without having to think about it.

Flight Series rods are available separately or in line weights 4-6, 8 and 9 as part of a complete, perfectly balanced outfit, including a Sage 1800 Series reel, RIO floating line, backing and leader, plus a protective rod/reel case.
